August 12, 2021 – Londonderry Twp., PA – EnergySolutions and Jingoli (ESJ Decommissioning) are pleased to announce the annual fundraising golf tournament to benefit the Londonderry Volunteer Fire Company held at the Sunset Golf Course in Londonderry Township raised $30K this week.

This is the 17th year the tournament has been played raising nearly $800,000 over the years for the fire company.  112 players participated in the tournament this year with more than a dozen corporate sponsors.

​

“We are grateful for the support from EnergySolutions, Jingoli and Exelon for the funds raised by the tournament,” stated Bart Shellenhamer, Chief, Londonderry Volunteer Fire Company.  “We have used the funds to purchase equipment, make improvements to the fire house and provide training to our firefighters.”

​

Sponsors and participants gathered on Wednesday evening before the Thursday tournament for a mix and mingle at the clubhouse.

​

“We are pleased with the tremendous support the tournament continues to receive from the community, Three Mile Island employees, Exelon Corporation, Jingoli and the many vendors who provide services to both Three Mile Island facilities, this is a great community effort,” stated Mike Lackey, President ES/Jingoli Decommissioning, LLC.
